“Plattsburgh City Police make arrest for cocaine possession”

On January 17th, 2018, Plattsburgh City Police arrested Bobby E. Jackson (46) of Greenville, SC for 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (B Felony).
This arrest was a result of information that developed from an ongoing narcotics investigation. That information led to the issuance of a search warrant for a vehicle driven by Jackson. After executing the search warrant, Jackson was found to be in possession of approximately 65 grams of cocaine. Police estimate the street value of the cocaine to be in excess of $10,000.
Jackson was later arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court. After arraignment, Jackson was remanded to the Clinton County Jail.
Jackson’s arrest was a result of an investigation by the Plattsburgh City Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit. The execution of the search warrant was conducted by the Plattsburgh City Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Adirondack Drug Task Force which is comprised of members of the Plattsburgh Police Department, New York State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations, Clinton County District Attorney’s Office, Clinton County Sheriff’s Department and the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.
