Glass - (Only) Bottles and Jars
(Clear, green and brown glass containers)
- Must be clean and dry
- Remove caps and lids - throw in garbage
- Labels are OK
- No window Glass
- No ceramic or china
- No Pyrex
- No laboratory glass
- No mirrors or light bulbs

- Must be clean and dry
- Remove labels
- May be flattened
- No ends unless still attached to the cans and folded in can
- No food trays and foil
- No scrap metal
- No pesticide cans
- No paint cans

Newspaper and Advertising Inserts
- Must be clean and dry
- No envelopes
- No junk mail
- No notebooks
- No books
- No magazines
- Do not tie in bundles - please leave loose
- Do not place in plastic bags
- Phonebooks can go with newspaper

Corrugated Cardboard and Cereal Boxes
(Cardboard with ridges or grooved inner surface without plastic insets)
- Must be clean and dry
- Flattened
- No staples
- No wax-coated cardboard of any kind (ex. Milk cartons, beverage boxes)
- No contaminated cardboard
- No pizza boxes

Plastics - (Only) Bottles and Jugs
(#1 PETE Clear & #2 HDPE Opaque and colored - type is indicated at bottom with triangle)
- #1 PETE and #2 HDPE need to be separated into different nags
- No cups, tubs, food containers or other non bottle plastics, only 16oz or larger
- Remove lids and cups
- Rinse thoroughly
- Please flatten
- No six-pack holders
- No plastic bags
- No plastic buckets
- No plastic toys
- No motor oil bottles
- No pesticide bottles/containers
- All plastics that are not accepted go into the trash
