To mark the completion of the Betty Little Arts Park, the City of Plattsburgh is holding an official grand opening on Saturday September 11th from 9AM to 1PM. The event will celebrate the new community gathering space named after former US State Senator, Betty Little, an avid supporter of the arts in our region.

Event Schedule

9AM-1PM - High Peaks Brew Coffee Cart / Local Artist Meet and Greet / Interactive Art Activities

10AM - Official Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting with Mayor Rosenquest and Senator Little.

11AM - Performance by local Indie Rock Band Ursa Major and the Minor Key

12PM - Family Friendly Hip Hop Set by Antwon Levee & Dust

In addition to the events in the Park, Outside Art: Plattsburgh Mural Project will be dedicating the Smiling Sun Mural by Jimmy Golovach at 11AM at The Strand.

The Betty Little Arts Park is a project funded through the New York Department of State as part of the city’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. This event is free, open to the public and no registration is required.
