Friendly Conversations about Our Climate Event on October 15th

The City of Plattsburgh Climate Task Force is hosting its first public event Saturday, October 15, 2022, 1:00–4:00 pm, at the Farmers Market.  CCTF invites Plattsburgh to join in “Friendly Conversations about Our Climate”.  Two talks are planned from 1:00 to 1:30.  Curt Stager, author, and biologist at Paul Smith’s college will discuss local impacts of Climate Change in the near future. Rachelle Armstrong, Task Force coordinator, will explain how the city is working on solutions by participating in two NYS programs:  Climate Smart and Clean Energy Communities.

After some time for questions and comments, attendees can visit local organizations’ tables, which will feature activities and more information about local solutions.
