Something magical is coming back to Margaret Street on Saturday December 7th! The City of Plattsburgh and The Strand Center for the Arts are teaming up once again to bring a day full of festive activities and holiday cheer. This year’s festivities include children’s art activities at The Strand, The Nutcracker Ballet, a Merry Mugs fundraiser, music and dance performances and the 9th annual Holiday Parade and tree lighting ceremony!
The City of Plattsburgh is seeking Letters of Interest (LOIs) from local property and land owners for Round 9 of Empire State Development’s RestoreNY program. Through the RestoreNY program, which was announced in September 2024, $50 million dollars are available to support local efforts, and help to reduce insurmountable costs for transforming blighted, underutilized structures into vibrant residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
