City of Plattsburgh and AFSCME Reach Tentative Agreement

After several rounds of negotiation, the City of Plattsburgh Mayor’s office and AFSCME union leadership have reached a tentative agreement for a 5-year contract renewal.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST RELEASE OF FUNDS (NOIRROF)

On or about August 12, 2024 the City of Plattsburgh will submit a request to the Office of Community Renewal for the release of CDBG funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, to undertake a project known as the City of Plattsburgh Drinking Water System Upgrades Project. The proposed project involves the replacement of up to 5,000 linear feet of existing water main along Rand Hill Road and NYS Route 374.

Swimming Back Open at City Beach

Saturday July 13th 2024 - After receiving a clear water quality test on Saturday morning from a sample taken at the City Beach on Friday July 12th, Swimming at the Plattsburgh City beach is back open to the public.
